A-Plus Canine College uses a NON-FORCE training system: NO prong collars or shock
collars are allowed in the facility.
Household Manners—Basic I Establishing communication and a working relationship
between you and your dog.
Basic Obedience II Designed to teach the dog and handler exercises required for the
American Kennel Club (AKC) Companion Dog (CD) title, and Therapy Dog evaluations.
Open Obedience I Designed to teach the dog and handler exercises required for AKC’s
Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title.
Open Obedience II An ongoing class that expands on the lessons taught in Open I,
perfecting and proofing dog and handler’s performance of the exercises.
Utility Obedience An ongoing class designed to prepare dog and handler to compete in
AKC Utility Obedience, working toward the Utility Dog (UD) title.
Rally Obedience The fun, new AKC competition for dogs and their people! Weekly classes
for novice and advanced students.
Agility The exciting dog obstacle course! All A-Plus agility equipment meets regulation
requirements. Classes are weekly or ongoing depending upon level of training.
Conformation Handling A weekly class designed to prepare dog and handler for competition
in the conformation show ring.
Private Instruction Hour-long lessons are available to meet the needs of the individual dog
and handler.
